Functional Nutrition Service
You know you need to make some changes in your diet and lifestyle. And maybe you’ve tried different approaches without much success, or maybe you just feel really unsure of where to start. A Functional Nutrition Assessment is the perfect place to start!
This foundational nutritional assessment helps you figure out the food and lifestyle choices and habits that make sense for you, and sets you up for success with a customized meal plan. (Saving time, money, and never having to decide what’s for dinner again? Yes, please!)

Step 1: First Consultation – Let’s Get to Know You
You’ll meet with a registered dietitian, to talk about your health, symptoms, and goals. Together, you’ll figure out what might be going on in your body and come up with a plan that fits you personally.
Step 2: Lab Testing – What’s Happening Inside?
After your first visit, you’ll do some functional nutrition lab tests to learn more about how your body works. Your dietitian will look at the results and use them to build a nutrition plan that’s just for you.
Step 3: Your Personalized Nutrition Plan
Once your lab results are ready, you’ll meet with your dietitian again to discuss the functional nutrition protocol. You’ll learn how food, meal plan, supplements, and lifestyle changes can help you feel better and more balanced.
Step 4: Ongoing Support
You’ll get access to our app, where you can track your meals and physical activity—if that helps you stay focused and motivated. It’s a great way to see your progress and figure out what’s working for your body.
You may meet with your dietitian once a month or every few months to check in, adjust your plan, and keep moving toward your goals. The frequency of visits may also depend on what your insurance covers.
We accept most major insurance plans. Our team is dedicated to providing you with personalized care to address your nutritional needs. By choosing the Initial Dietitian Visit with Insurance, you'll gain access to a comprehensive assessment that will guide you towards making informed health decisions. Welcome to the first step of your Body in Balance™ journey—where your transformation begins with insight, not guesswork. You’ll meet with a registered dietitian to talk about your health, symptoms, and goals
Step 2: Custom Meal Plan – Boost your own GLP-1 production through food!
GLP-1 is a natural hormone that helps control hunger and balance blood sugar. It works best when you eat a healthy mix of protein, fiber, good fats, and colorful plant foods. To support this, you’ll get a personalized 90-day meal plan that guides you week by week—so you can eat with confidence, feel full longer, and fuel your body for lasting success
Step 3: Lab Testing – What’s Happening Inside?
After your first visit, you’ll do a saliva gene test to learn more about your unique genetic map and how your body works. Your dietitian will use these results to create a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your needs. The test is HSA/FSA eligible, and the fee is already included in your program price—no extra cost to you.
Step 4: Ongoing Support
You’ll get access to live classes, weekly group coaching, and an app to track meals and activity. You’ll meet with your dietitian monthly or as needed to adjust your plan—based on your goals.
Custom Meal Plan
You know where you struggle, what foods you have issues with, and what you need to do to live a healthier, happier life. But you don’t have the time, energy, or knowledge you need to create a meal plan that you can actually stick to! Oh, and you wish you never had to answer the question “What’s for dinner?!” again…
Your custom meal plan is created by a registered dietitian and personalized to your dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences.
We use a custom app that shares your weekly meal plan, creates a grocery list, and lets us adjust serving sizes to accommodate your unique family.

Many major insurance plans do not include coverage for meal plan services. If you require assistance with your meal plan, opt for the Initial Dietitian Visit with Insurance, and we will offer you the necessary support. All Insurance clients receive access to our custom meal plan service.
We offer several detailed functional nutrition testing options that give you an in-depth look at how your body reacts to a wide variety of foods.
